Our place is in Begusarai, over in the Nagdah area of Singhaul. It’s a local operation run out of Shankar Paswan’s premises. Being in the infratech business means we are always looking at land and building materials. Begusarai is a busy industrial kind of town, and we fit right into that. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find someone sitting at a desk covered in papers. We spend a lot of time on our motorbikes or in old jeeps going between different sites. The dust is just part of the job. We aren't trying to be some big national firm. We are just local people who know the ground here. Some days the weather makes it impossible to work, and we just sit around the office talking about nothing in particular. It’s not a polished environment. We have stains on the walls and the furniture is a bit wobbly. But we get the work done. Shankaranand Infratech is about the practical side of building. We don't bother with a lot of talk. We just check the measurements, talk to the laborers, and try to keep the project on track. It’s a lot of back and forth, but it’s what we know how to do. We’ve been part of this community for years and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the local projects.
