Health Heaven Foundation

Health Heaven Foundation is based right here in Begusarai, specifically in Ward Number 22. If you walk down Goshala Road and get close to the Chamra Godown, you will find us pretty easily. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of noise and activity, which we actually like. We started this because health issues are a big deal around here and people often don't know where to turn for simple advice or help. We aren't doctors or nurses ourselves, but we know the local systems and can help guide people. Our office is just a couple of rooms with some old desks. We spend a lot of time talking to neighbors and visiting families in the ward. Sometimes it's about helping a mother find the right clinic for her child, or helping an old man understand his medicine schedule. We don't use any polished language or pretend to be something we aren't. We are just local folks who care about the people on our street. The work is practical and sometimes it’s a bit messy, but that’s just how life is. We don't have big funding, so we just do what we can with what we've got. Most people know us by our first names. We’ve lived in this town our whole lives and we just want to help our neighbors stay a bit healthier. It’s a lot of work but seeing people get better makes it worth the effort.
