We are based out of Begumpet, which is a pretty central and very busy part of the city. Laxmi Imports & Exports Pvt. Ltd. has been operating here for a while, and if you know Begumpet at all, you know how the traffic and the crowds can be almost every day. Our office is right in the middle of all that action. It is a convenient spot for us because it is close to a lot of other businesses and the government offices we have to visit frequently. The office is usually quite full of paper, folders, and people talking loudly on phones. We handle both the import and export sides, so there is always something going on that needs our attention. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of shipments moving at once, but we always find a way to make it work. We don't have a big corporate feel here; it's more like a group of regular people who have worked together for a long time. We drink a lot of tea and spend our hours looking at shipping manifests and computer screens. The noise from the street is always there in the background, but we don't really notice it anymore after all these years. It is just the sound of the city. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing; we just focus on the task of getting things moved from point A to point B. It’s a busy life.
