Sri Abbirami Traders

We are located at 194/68 on West Car Street. If you know this area, you know how busy it gets, especially during the festival times when the crowds are everywhere in the street. Our shop is right in the middle of all that activity. We deal with trading various goods, and our storage space is usually packed with heavy sacks and boxes from the floor to the ceiling. Most mornings start with us sweeping the front step and waiting for the first delivery truck to arrive from the city. It’s a bit of a squeeze to get the goods inside without blocking the whole sidewalk, but we manage somehow. The street is full of other traders and small shops, so there’s always someone to talk to or share a cup of hot coffee with in the afternoon. We don't have a lot of modern equipment, just some old-fashioned scales and a sturdy wooden desk where we keep the accounts. It’s a traditional way of doing business that we prefer. We know most of our regular customers by their first names, and they know exactly where to find us. The building is quite old, with high ceilings and thick walls that keep it relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on the street. We don't bother with fancy signs because people around here already know what we have in stock. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us on our feet.
