Virendera Name Plate Makers has been operating here on Nagar Road for a good while now. We are tucked in right near the Police Ground, which makes it pretty easy for people to find us even if they aren't from this part of town. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with scraps of metal and acrylic lying around, but that is just how we work. We spend most of our days cutting letters and fixing plates for houses or offices. It is a simple job, really. You get a name, you pick a style, and we make it. Sometimes the machines act up or the heat on Nagar Road gets to be a bit much, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the shop. We don’t have any fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. Most of our neighbors know us by now, and we see the same faces walking by the Police Ground every morning. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure the letters are straight. It is not always perfect, and sometimes we are running a bit behind because of a power cut or a late delivery of materials, but we are here every day. People come to us because we have been in this spot for years and they know where to find us.
