We have been here for a while now, running this Nidhi. It is a place for the people of Shirur Kasar to come when they want to save their daily or monthly earnings. We do not have a big fancy building with an elevator. It is just a practical office that gets the job done for the town. We deal with urban credit and simple savings. Most of our members are farmers or people who own small businesses on this very street. We know how hard they work for every rupee. We keep the books in good order and make sure everything is transparent for everyone to see. Beed can be a tough place to live sometimes, but the people here are very hardworking and resilient.
