Our office is at House Number 26/47 in Ashok Nagar. That's in Majalgaon, which is part of the Beed district. The name on the door is Shrimati Rajubai Gunajirav Vairale Urban Multipurpose Nidhi Limited. It's a very long name, we know. Most people just call us the Nidhi office. Majalgaon is a busy town. Ashok Nagar is a bit more tucked away. We've been here for a bit. It’s just a ground floor space. We have a few chairs for visitors. It's not a big fancy bank. We handle small money matters for the people around here. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, honestly. We’re too busy with the ledgers though. Beed can be a tough place sometimes, but the people are good. We see a lot of the same families every month. They trust us because we live here too. We’re not from some big city. We know how hard people work for their money. We try to be helpful when someone walks in. Sometimes we have to look through a lot of papers to find what we need. It’s all manual work mostly. But we get there in the end. It's just how we do things here in Ashok Nagar. The sun gets really strong in the afternoon, so we pull the curtains shut. It makes the room a bit dark, but it’s better than the heat. We usually have a small radio playing in the corner.
