Jadhav Cloth Centre

At Jadhav Cloth Centre, we are located in Neknoor, right near the local police station. It is a very central spot in the village, so there is always something happening outside our door. Being so close to the police station means it is a safe and well-known corner. We have rolls of cloth stacked up all the way to the ceiling in the back. It is a small shop, but we try to keep a bit of everything for the people who live around here. We spend our days measuring out fabric and cutting it for customers who need it for clothes or home things. It is a lot of talking and listening to the local gossip while we work. We do not have a website or any big advertisements. The people of Neknoor know us, and we know them by name. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded on market days, and it can get quite warm inside with all the fabric soaking up the heat. We have been here for a long time, and the wooden counters are worn down from years of use. It is a simple business, passed down or kept going by the same few hands. We do not try to be fancy. We just open the shop every morning, sweep the front, and wait for the first customer to come in. It is a good life being a part of this community, right in the heart of Neknoor.
