KHOKARMOHA URBAN NIDHI LIMITED is located out in the Khokarmoha area of Shirur. We are in the Beed district, which is a bit of a distance from the big cities, but we like it that way. The office is right there in the village, so everyone knows where to find us. It’s a very local thing, and we mostly deal with people we’ve known for years. The pace of life here is a bit slower than in Pune or Mumbai. We open up in the morning and wait for people to come in after they’ve finished their chores or farm work. There’s a lot of talk about the weather and the crops while we are doing the paperwork. It’s not a sterile office environment at all. You’ll hear the sounds of the village outside the window all day long. We keep our records in order and make sure everything is handled the way it’s supposed to be. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things twice. Since we are in the Ashti region, we see a lot of the same people every week. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just have our small office and the trust of the local people who come to us. It’s an honest way to work and we’ve been part of this community for a long time now.
