Kanhaiyya Gifts

Kanhaiyya Gifts is a small shop located on Kandi Road in Kaij. We have been here for several years now, selling various things that people like to give as presents. The shop is not very big, but we try to pack as much as we can onto the shelves. You will find things like plastic toys, little statues, picture frames, and greeting cards. When it is time for a festival or a big holiday, the shop gets so crowded that it is hard to even walk around. Kaij is usually a pretty quiet town, but Kandi Road stays busy with people moving back and forth. There are only one or two of us working here at any time. We wrap gifts in paper if someone asks us to, though our wrapping isn't always as neat as the stuff you see in movies. It is a very local business. We know most of the kids who come in to spend their small change and the parents who need a last-minute gift for a birthday party. We don't do any advertising or social media stuff. The sign outside has faded quite a bit from the sun over the years, but everyone knows we are here. On slow days, we just sit near the door and watch the motorbikes go by. We try to keep our prices low so that everyone in the neighborhood can afford something nice. It is just a simple, honest shop.
