Our office is located in Fulai Nagar in Beed, specifically at S.No. 218. We are working out of the space that belongs to Ganesh Vitthalrao Varekar, which most people in the Balgujar area know pretty well. It’s a busy spot with houses and small shops all packed together. We don’t have a big lobby or anything like that; it’s just a room where we have our computers and all the records for the multipurpose work we do. The street outside can get quite dusty, especially when the wind picks up, so we are always cleaning the glass on the desks. We spend the better part of our day dealing with the local folks who come in to sort out their bits of business with Dnyanrajurban Multipurpose Nidhi Limited. It’s a lot of sitting and talking through the details of various papers. We use simple fans to stay cool and usually have the radio playing quietly in the background. The sounds of children playing outside or neighbors calling to each other are just part of the background here. We are not a big company with hundreds of employees, just a small group trying to keep the records in order. Every evening we lock up the shutters and head home, just to come back and do the same thing the next morning. It’s a practical way to live and work in this part of Maharashtra.
