Deccan Virasat Foundation

Deccan Virasat Foundation is located out in Wadgaon, which is part of the Beed district. Our address is 1910 A, and it’s a pretty simple setup. Being in a rural area like Beed means we see things a bit differently than people in the big cities. We started this foundation to focus on things that matter to the local community here. It’s not about big galas or fancy fundraisers; it’s more about being on the ground and seeing what needs doing. Some days we are out in the village talking to people, and other days we are stuck in the office handling the paperwork that comes with running a foundation. It’s a lot of administrative work that people don’t usually see. The building we are in is just a regular house turned into an office space. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the roads, but we don’t mind. We just want to do some good work where it’s needed. We’ve lived in this part of Maharashtra for a long time, so we know the people and the challenges they face. It’s a slow and steady process, and we take it one day at a time. We don't have a big PR team, just us trying to make a small difference. It is hard work sometimes, but seeing things actually change makes it worth the effort.
