Our office is located at House Number 2100 on Kolher Road in Georai. It’s a busy street, so there’s always something going on outside. We’ve been here in the Bid district for a while now. The office itself is quite simple. We have a front counter where people come to talk to us about their accounts. Behind that, we have our desks where we do the actual work of keeping the books. It’s not a polished environment. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the chairs are a bit mismatched. But it works for us. We focus on the daily tasks of a Nidhi company, like taking deposits and helping people with small gold loans or savings plans. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we don't mind it. We know most of the people who come in because they live right here on Kolher Road or nearby. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day and talk about the local news while we work. We aren't a big institution with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us making sure the numbers add up at the end of every day. We try to be helpful and honest with everyone. It’s a local business run by local people who understand what it’s like to live and work in Georai. No frills, just regular daily operations to keep the money safe.
