Bhumi Micro Welfare Foundation

Bhumi Micro Welfare Foundation is based out of Mata Nagar in Kaij. We are located at C/O- Manisha Rajendra Palavadesamata Nagar. This is in the Beed district of Maharashtra. Being in a place like Kaij means we are far from the big city lights, and that suits us just fine. We work out of a modest space that belongs to the local community. It is a simple setup without any decorations or expensive furniture. We focus on our daily tasks and talk to the people who stop by. Life here moves at its own pace. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy website. We just do the work manually, one day at a time. The heat in Beed can be tough during the summer, but we just get on with it. Everyone in the area knows us or knows where the office is. It’s a very local thing. We use everyday English and don’t try to act like we are bigger than we are. Just a small group of us trying to manage the paperwork and stay organized. The office is often full of the sounds of the street outside. We like being part of the local fabric here in Mata Nagar. It feels right to be where the people are. We don't have much, but we have enough to keep the foundation running. Our morning routine usually starts with cleaning the front step and getting the register ready.
