Akshay Kendre Foundation

The Akshay Kendre Foundation is easy to find if you’re in Parli V. We are right on Bus Stand Road, located inside the Dr. Kendre Hospital building. Being near the bus stand means it’s always loud with the sound of engines and people shouting for their stops. It’s a very busy part of Beed. We don’t have a separate, fancy entrance; we’re just part of the hospital scene there. It’s a dusty area, and there’s always a lot of movement around us. We chose this spot because it’s where everyone ends up eventually when they come into town. Our room is simple, with just the essentials. We don't spend money on decorations or shiny signs. People just know where we are. Working out of a hospital building in Parli Vaijnath keeps us grounded because we see real life happening every single minute. It’s not a quiet office job. We hear the ambulances and the buses all day long. Sometimes it’s hard to hear each other talk over the noise from the road, but we’re used to it by now. We aren't trying to be a big national organization with a polished image. We’re just a local group in Beed trying to do some good from our small corner on Bus Stand Road. It’s a bit messy and chaotic sometimes, but that’s just how things are in this part of the state.
