Castamet Works Pvt. Ltd. is based in Village Kharwa. We are in Tehsil Masuda, which is part of the Ajmer district. It is a long way out from the city center, so it is much quieter here. We have a lot of space out in the village. The air is a bit cleaner, but it gets very dusty when the wind blows across the open ground. Our facility is a mix of old sheds and some newer sections we added as we needed more room. We spend our days working with metal and casting. It is hot, heavy work. The furnace makes the whole place warm, which is nice in the winter but tough in the summer months. Most of us live nearby, so we do not have much of a commute. We know everyone in the village. It feels more like a big family than a corporate company. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and find someone in the workshop. We have a small room where we keep the computer and the ledgers. It is usually covered in a thin layer of dust. We try to keep it clean, but it is a losing battle in a place like this. Village Kharwa is a good place for us. We have the space we need and the people are hardworking. It is a simple life out here in Masuda, focused on the work at hand.
