You will find Sunchems Chemicals down in the basement of Ganpati Plaza. We are at number 11 on Chawani Road. It’s a busy area and the basement stays busy too. We spend most of our time moving barrels and checking lists. It is dusty down here sometimes because of all the boxes and the way the air moves through the building. We have been here for a good bit now. Most days it is just the sound of the fans and the phone ringing. We handle a lot of different chemical supplies for people around town. We don’t have a big showroom or anything like that. It is mostly just shelves and a small area to sit and write out receipts. If you come by, you might have to wait a minute if we are in the back moving stuff around. The stairs coming down are a bit narrow, so watch your step. Chawani Road always has trucks and scooters going by, so it gets loud outside. We just keep to ourselves and get the work done. The basement isn't the prettiest place to work, but it keeps the costs down and we have enough room for the inventory. We use an old desk for all our records. It’s a practical place for a business like ours. We don't change much around here, we just make sure the supplies are ready when someone needs them for their project and that's about it really.
