Sood Seeds Company Pvt. Ltd. is located on Bhama Piraha Road. It’s a stretch of road that sees a lot of farmers and tractors, especially during the planting season. Our building is mostly used for storing bags of seeds. It smells like earth and dried grain inside. We have big stacks of sacks everywhere. Sometimes it's hard to walk through the warehouse without bumping into something. I work in a small office at the front. It’s got a metal roof, so it gets really loud when it rains. I spend a lot of time checking the inventory and talking to suppliers. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a big corporate office. It's just a few of us making sure the seeds are ready for the customers. The road outside can get very dusty in the summer. I usually keep the door shut to keep the grime out. We’ve been on Bhama Piraha Road for a long time. People around here know the name Sood Seeds. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth is usually enough. It’s a busy life, especially when the season starts. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the sacks are labeled correctly. It’s a lot of physical work, but we are used to it. Sometimes the local birds get into the warehouse and we have to shoo them out before they tear the bags.
