Walia Buildcon Private Limited is over at 4677-A on Mall Road here in Bathinda. If you know this part of Punjab, you know Mall Road is where everything happens. We spend most of our days in the office or out looking at sites, just trying to get things built the right way. It’s a lot of work dealing with plans and materials, especially when the weather gets really hot in the summer, but we just keep at it. People come by the office sometimes to talk about projects, and we usually have tea and go over some drawings. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular office where we handle all the paperwork for the construction jobs we take on. We’ve been part of the local scene for a bit now, and you might see our trucks or workers around town depending on what we have going on at the moment. Building stuff takes time and there are always some delays with supplies or labor, but that is just how it goes in this business. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the next step of whatever project is on the desk. Mall Road is always noisy, which is fine because it keeps us moving. If you are walking past the 4677-A spot, you’ll see us there, probably looking at some blueprints or on the phone with a supplier. It’s just us doing our thing in Bathinda.
