Super Market

Our place is called Super Market, and you can find us in Dayanand Nagar. We’re right on Bk Road, quite close to the Punjab Bank. Even though the name sounds big, we’re just a local spot where people come for their groceries and house stuff. It gets pretty crowded in the evenings when everyone is finishing work and stopping by on their way home. We have rows of shelves that we try to keep organized, but things get moved around a lot by the customers. We spend a lot of our time checking dates on labels and making sure nothing is sitting there too long. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes. The building is older than it looks from the outside. We have a few lights that flicker occasionally, but we’re used to it. The staff is mostly just local kids and some family members. We don’t do fancy advertising or anything. People just know where we are. We have a counter near the front where we settle up and maybe talk about the local news or the weather. It’s a steady life. We see the same faces every week, and you get to know what people like to buy. Some days are long, especially when the big shipments come in and we have to carry everything inside, but we get it done. It’s just the way things go around here.
