Singla Nursing & Eye Hospital

If you are walking down Sauji Road, you will see our sign. We have been operating here as a small nursing and eye spot for a good bit of time. Most people around here know us because we’ve helped their parents or kids with glasses or other eye issues. It is not a huge place, just a few rooms and a waiting area that gets a bit cramped when the afternoon sun hits the windows. We spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment and making sure the files are in order. Sometimes the power goes out for a second and we have to wait for the generator, but that is just how it is on this street. The staff usually brings their own lunch and we eat in the back room when there is a quiet moment. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a steady one. People come in with itchy eyes or needing a new prescription, and we do what we can. It is a lot of repeat visitors who live just a few blocks away. The chairs in the waiting room are a bit worn out, but they are comfortable enough. Sauji Road stays busy with bikes and carts, so there is always something to look at out the window while we work. It is just our daily life here. We don't put on any airs. We just open up in the morning and see who needs help.
