Satya Highways LLP is tucked away at E20 in the Old Industrial Area. We are pretty close to the ITI Chowk, which most people around here use as a landmark. The area is a bit aged and the roads can be bumpy, but it’s where we feel most at home. Our work is mainly about highways and the logistics that go into building them. It isn’t glamorous work. You spend a lot of time looking at boring technical drawings and worrying about the supply of raw materials. The office is just a practical space where we can meet and talk about the next steps for our crews. We don’t have any polished floors or expensive furniture. It’s mostly just metal cabinets and some sturdy tables that can handle a bit of dirt. Sometimes the traffic around ITI Chowk makes getting to the office a bit of a chore in the mornings, but we’re used to it by now. The team is made up of locals who have been in the construction line for quite some time. We don’t use a lot of big corporate words. We just talk about what needs to be finished by the end of the week. There’s usually a pot of tea going and some maps spread out on the main table. We find that being in this part of town helps us stay connected to the actual labor and the machinery we use. It’s a no-nonsense environment for people who just want to get things built properly.
