About Ripu Daman Singh Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Bathinda
I am located at house number P-11 in the Staff Colony on the GZS-PTU campus. It’s a quiet area compared to the main city, which helps when I need to concentrate on architectural drawings. I have been doing this for a long time now. My office is basically a room in my house that is filled with books, blueprints, and a lot of pens. Living and working on the campus means I am part of a small community. Many of my neighbors are also in the engineering or technical fields. I take on various projects, from small house renovations to larger building plans. I don't have a big staff or a fancy website. It is just me working through the designs. People find me through word of mouth mostly. I enjoy the process of sitting down with a blank sheet of paper and figuring out how a space should function. Bathinda has its own challenges with the weather and the soil, so I keep that in mind when I am planning. I don't use a lot of big words to explain my work. I just show the drawings and explain why I put a door or a window in a certain spot. It’s practical, honest work. I try to stay busy but I always have time for a cup of tea if someone stops by to discuss a project. I have been here since the start and know the campus well.
