Raj General And Ayurvedic Store

Our store is located on Beri Wala Baba Bhatti Road. It’s a local shop where we sell both general household items and Ayurvedic medicines. We’ve been on this road for a long time now and the building has seen better days but it works for us. Inside, the shelves are packed from the floor to the ceiling with all sorts of things like soap, lentils, and various herbal tonics. It’s a bit of a squeeze when there are more than two or three customers inside at once. We spend our days weighing out spices or looking for specific Ayurvedic roots that someone’s grandmother told them to buy. The floor is made of old stone and it’s a bit uneven in places so you have to watch your step. We don't have any fancy displays or bright neon signs. Just a simple board outside with the name of the shop. Most of the people who come here are neighbors who live just a few streets away. We know who likes which brand of tea and who is looking for something to help with a cough. Sometimes the delivery van can't get down the narrow road so we have to carry the boxes from the main corner. It’s a bit of extra work but we don't mind. We just keep the doors open from early morning until late evening and help people find what they need for their homes.
