Raffia Boutique

Started this little place in Bathinda a while back. It’s mostly just us here every day, sorting through different fabrics and trying to keep the racks organized. We have a lot of stuff coming in, sometimes it gets a bit crowded in here. It's not a huge shop, but we make it work. Customers come in looking for something specific, and usually, we spend a lot of time just talking and figuring out what they like. The sewing machines in the back are always making noise, which is just part of the day now. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Just some mirrors and a place to sit. Some days are really busy and other days we just sit and drink tea while waiting for the next person to walk through the door. Bathinda can get hot, so we try to keep the fan going. We’ve been at this for some time now and most of the people who come in are regulars from the neighborhood. It’s nice to see familiar faces. We just do our work, fix the hems, and try to get the orders ready on time. There’s always piles of cloth lying around that need to be sorted. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s how we do things here. We just want people to find something they feel comfortable wearing without making a big fuss about it.
