Pandhi Clinic

We are located out in Vill Balian Wali, which is a bit of a drive from the main Bhatinda city. Living and working in a village means you know almost everyone who walks through the door. It’s a small clinic, just a couple of rooms really. We’ve been here for years, through the hot summers and the cold winters. The power goes out sometimes, but we keep going with lanterns if we have to. It’s a quiet life compared to the big city hospitals. People come here for all sorts of things, mostly small injuries or fevers. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the area well. The people here are hardworking and they don't complain much. We try to keep our prices fair because we know how it is. Sometimes someone will bring us some fresh vegetables from their farm as a thank you. That’s the kind of place this is. It isn't a modern medical center with bright lights. It’s just a local clinic for the local people. We do our best with what we have. If you’re coming from the main road, it’s a straight path. Just ask anyone in Balian Wali and they’ll point you toward us. We plan to stay here as long as the village needs us. It's good to be a part of the community in this way.
