About Orthocare Hospital – Medical & Healthcare in Bathinda
Orthocare Hospital is right on Bibi Wala Road. The road itself is always busy, so there is a lot of traffic and dust that we have to deal with. Our building is easy to spot if you are driving down Bibi Wala Road, although the signs are getting a bit faded from the sun. Inside, the floors are usually being mopped by someone to keep the dirt out. We have a reception area that stays pretty crowded in the afternoons. The staff knows most of the regular patients who come in for their bone checkups. We have a routine where the files are pulled in the morning and the doctors start their rounds. There isn't anything fancy about the way we work. It’s mostly just people coming in, getting their x-rays or bandages, and then heading back out. The rooms are basic, with the usual medical beds and some chairs for family members to sit in. We often hear the horns of the buses outside. In the summer, the fans are always spinning to keep the heat away. The nurses are usually busy moving between the different wards, carrying trays or clipboards. We have a small area in the back for the staff to eat their lunch. It is a plain, functional hospital that has become a familiar part of the neighborhood over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day while the traffic passes by outside.
