Nirankari Traders

Nirankari Traders is based in Gunyana Mandi. We are right near Shiv Hospital, which is how most people find their way to us. Being in a mandi means things start very early. We are usually here before the sun is even fully up, getting things ready for the day’s trade. The noise of the market is constant—people shouting, carts moving, and tractors coming in. It’s a very active atmosphere. Our shop is just a basic space where we store our stock and handle the daily transactions. We don't have air conditioning or soft chairs, just the usual benches and a lot of hustle. The proximity to the hospital means there are always people walking by. We see a lot of the same faces every week. It’s a bit chaotic during the peak season when the mandi is full of goods, but we like the energy of it. Our work is straightforward trading, nothing more and nothing less. We spend our time counting, weighing, and talking to the farmers and other traders. It’s a life built around the market cycles. When things quiet down in the evening, we finally get a chance to sit and look over the books. It is hard work and the days are long, but this is where we have been for years. Gunyana Mandi is a tough place to work but it’s home for the business.
