New Aluwalia Travel Bus Service

Our bus service is based at Shop Number 2 in the Green Market area of Bhatinda. We are right in the thick of things, near the Video Po office and the Sabzi Mandi. If you come here in the early morning, the whole place is buzzing with the sounds of vegetable sellers and trucks unloading. We’ve been part of this market for many years now. Our office is just a small room where we keep the bus schedules and some spare parts. It’s often quite loud because of all the people and carts passing by the door. We don’t have any fancy waiting lounge for our passengers. Most people just stand near the shop or find a spot on a wooden bench outside. Managing the buses is a tough job. We have to make sure they are cleaned out and that the drivers are ready for their long shifts. We use big paper charts to keep track of the seat bookings. Sometimes a bus gets a flat tire or there is a delay at a police checkpoint, and we have to deal with the complaints from passengers. It’s just part of the daily grind for us. We don't use any corporate language or have big mission statements. We are just a local bus service trying to get people from one place to another. We drink plenty of tea to keep going through the long hours and hope for a smooth journey every time.
