My Career

You can find us right on 100 Feet Road in Bhatinda, near Ghorewala Chowk. It’s a pretty busy part of town, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. We named the place My Career because that’s really all we focus on—helping people figure out what they’re going to do with their professional lives. It’s a plain office, nothing too special to look at. We have some desks, some computers, and a lot of pamphlets about different courses and jobs. We’ve been in Bhatinda for a while and we know the local job market pretty well. We don’t put on airs or pretend to be more than we are. We just sit down with people and talk about their options. Sometimes it’s about study abroad, other times it’s local exams. It’s practical work. We see all kinds of people, from students who are totally lost to adults looking for a change. We don't use a lot of corporate jargon. We just speak plain English or Punjabi and get to the point. The Ghorewala Chowk landmark helps people find us, which is good because 100 Feet Road is quite long. We aren't part of some big franchise. It’s just our local office here, trying to make sure people in Bhatinda have a place to go when they need some career advice. It’s often a bit messy with paperwork, but we know where everything is. That's just how we run things every day.
