We are located in Bhucho Mandi, right near the MC Park in Ward Number 13. It is a familiar spot for anyone living around here in Bathinda. Being close to the park is nice because it gives us a bit of a landmark for people who aren't quite sure where the office is. The address is 167, and it’s a pretty typical building for this part of Punjab. Inside, the vibe is very low-key. We aren't rushing around like people in the big cities. We take our time to go through the files and make sure everything is filled out correctly. The office has some old chairs and a big table where we do most of the sorting. During the harvest season, the whole town gets a lot busier, and we feel that here too with more people coming in. We have a small cooler for water and a kettle for making tea when it gets chilly in the winter. The walls have a few calendars on them and not much else. It’s a quiet place to work for the most part, except for the occasional tractor passing by outside. We handle the finance stuff for local tractors and cars mostly. It’s all very routine. We know a lot of the people who come in by their first names. It’s just a small-town office doing what needs to be done every day to keep things running for everyone.
