Landmark Travels

Our office is at Plot No 4515 in Bank Bazar, a very crowded part of Bhatinda City. Being near the Bank of India means there are always people around, even in the middle of a workday. It’s hard to find a place to park a scooter near our door, but once you get inside, it’s a bit quieter. We started Landmark Travels because people in the market needed ways to get around for work and errands. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just try to make sure there is a car available when someone asks for one. The ledger on my desk is filled with names and dates from the last few months. We use a lot of ink and paper because we don't really like using apps for every little thing. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to work by the light from the open window until it comes back. It’s a small space, and we often have to move boxes around just to find a spare chair for a customer to sit on. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time yet. Most of the people who come to us are regulars from the bazaar. We talk about the weather or the price of goods while we fill out the travel slips. It's just a local business doing what it can to keep things moving.
