Jai Shakti Rice Industrustries

We are located on Bega Road in Bhucho Mandi. This place, Jai Shakti Rice Industrustries, is where we spend almost all our time. Bhucho Mandi is a busy area, especially during the procurement season. There is a lot of shouting and engines idling. We try to keep things organized, but when fifty tractors show up at once, it gets a bit chaotic. Our yard is big enough, but it fills up fast. We have some heavy machinery that we have to look after constantly. If one part breaks, the whole line stops. I’ve spent many nights under a light bulb trying to fix a jammed elevator. The Bega Road traffic is steady. We see the same drivers coming through year after year. They know where we are. We don’t really do any advertising. Word of mouth is how people find us. We don't have a big mission statement. We just want to get the rice processed and out the door without too much trouble. Sometimes we share a meal together in the afternoon, sitting on the grain bags. It's simple food, but it tastes good after a long morning. The work is tough on the back and the lungs, but it’s our trade. Jai Shakti Rice Industrustries is just a place where work happens every day, and we are glad to be part of the Bhucho Mandi community. We just keep going like this.
