Genius Fateh Bagpiper Band

We are based on Main Dhobiana Road in Bhatinda City. Our spot is near the Bathinda School Driving and right across from Secretariat Number 5. If you walk by, you might hear us practicing the bagpipes. It’s a loud instrument, so we try not to bother the neighbors too much. Our band is a group of guys who have been playing together for a long time. We do weddings, parades, and all sorts of local events around Bhatinda. The uniforms are kept in big trunks and we spend a lot of time cleaning the brass and pressing the clothes. Being a bagpiper isn't easy; it takes a lot of breath and energy. We aren't a big corporation. We’re just a local band. Sometimes we meet at the shop to discuss which songs to play or to fix a broken pipe. The traffic on Dhobiana Road can be quite something, but we’re used to it. People know us because we’ve played at so many functions in the city. We don't have a fancy website or anything. Most people just come by the office near the Secretariat or call us because they saw us at a cousin's wedding. It’s a traditional thing and we take it seriously, even if the rehearsals get a bit messy. Sometimes we play well into the night and then have to pack everything back into our bags. It’s a good life, even if our ears ring at the end of the day.
