G M ENTERPRISES

Our office is right by the Office Of The Indian Cotton Association on Street No 6 in Nai Basti. It’s a busy little pocket of the city where things are always moving and there’s always something going on. G M ENTERPRISES is basically just a couple of rooms where we keep our files and handle our daily business. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for a long time now. The office furniture is old, and the fans squeak a bit when they're on the highest setting. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff. We just talk to people face-to-face or over the phone. Most of our day is spent dealing with paperwork and coordinating things for the day. It’s not very exciting, but it’s steady work. Sometimes the street gets blocked by trucks delivering goods to the other businesses, so we have to park a few blocks away and walk. We know the other shop owners on the street, and we usually say hello when we're out getting water or tea in the afternoon. There’s no big corporate philosophy here. We just show up in the morning, do what needs to be done, and close up in the evening. It’s a simple way of doing business, and it seems to work well enough for us. We've been here a while and it feels like home.
