If you head over to the Industrial Growth Center in Bathinda, specifically at K-52, you’ll find our unit. Food Agro Industries Private Limited is right in the middle of all that noise and activity. It’s a busy spot, and there is always a truck coming or going. We deal with the processing side of things, taking what comes from the farms and getting it ready for the next step. The air inside the facility usually smells like whatever we are handling that day. It gets pretty loud with the machines running, and the floors are almost always being swept or washed down to keep things tidy. Being in the Bathinda industrial zone means we have to deal with the heat and the constant hum of the power grid. It’s not a glamorous job, and nobody wears a suit here. We are mostly in our work clothes, checking the scales and making sure the packaging is holding up. We spend a lot of time on the phone with transporters and suppliers, trying to make sure things arrive when they are supposed to. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend half the night fixing them so we don’t lose the day’s work. It’s just the reality of running a food business in an industrial area. We do the work, keep our heads down, and try to make sure the quality stays where it needs to be for the people buying it.
