Dhanuram Omprakash

Our place, Dhanuram Omprakash, is right in the middle of the Main Market here in Kotkapura. You can find us on Railway Road. It is quite a busy spot because the Railway Station is very close by. There is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside, especially when the trains come in. We have been part of this market for a long time. It is a traditional kind of setup where we deal with all sorts of items that people in town need. Being in the main market means we see everyone from the local villagers to the city folks. The shop is usually full of bags and containers. We don't have fancy lights or big displays, just the stock piled up where we can reach it. My family has been doing this for years. Sometimes the traffic on Railway Road gets backed up with rickshaws and carts, but that is just how Kotkapura is. We start our day early to get everything ready before the crowds arrive. It can get a bit dusty with all the construction and movement nearby, but we just get on with it. People know us by name here. They come in for a chat as much as they do for the goods. Dhanuram Omprakash is just a straightforward business. We keep things simple and the stock moving. It is a lot of work but it is what we know. The walls could use a bit of paint, maybe next year. For now, we just focus on the daily work.
