Chandigarh Clinic

If you take a walk down Gali No 2 in Hardev Nagar, you will eventually find Chandigarh Clinic. It is a small place, nothing too big or impressive to look at from the outside. We have been tucked away in this lane for a good bit now. Most of our patients are just neighbors who live around Hardev Nagar. It feels more like a house than a medical clinic sometimes because of the size. We have a small desk right at the front where we keep all the patient files in those old cardboard folders. The street outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, so we are always sweeping the front step to keep it clean. It is just a few rooms where we see people who aren't feeling well. There is no big sign with flashing lights, just a simple one so people know where to turn off Gali No 2. We spend the mornings getting the rooms ready and checking our supplies. Some days it is just one person after another, and other days we just sit and wait for the doorbell to ring. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit worn out from use, but they are comfortable enough. We don't really do anything special, just the normal stuff you would expect at a local neighborhood clinic. Being in Hardev Nagar is nice because everyone eventually gets to know each other. It is a pretty quiet life for the most part.
