I spend most of my time over at the Department of Architecture at G.Z.S. C.E.T. on Badwali Road. Being an Associate Professor keeps me pretty tied up with classes and students, but the architectural work is always going on in the background. It’s a bit of a mix between teaching and actual practice. My office there is usually filled with books and student projects, along with my own drawings. Badwali Road is a familiar route for me every day. The work isn't about being fancy; it's more about understanding how structures actually stand up and function. I’ve been doing this for quite a while, balancing the academic side with real-world projects. It gets busy, especially when exams are coming up or when a project deadline is near. I don't really have a big staff or a fancy downtown office. It’s just me working from my space at the college. People come by when they want a professional opinion or need help with a design they’re thinking about. I try to give them a clear answer based on what I’ve learned over the years. It’s a practical approach to architecture. There’s a lot of theory involved in teaching, but when it comes to building, you just have to make sure the math works and the space is usable. That’s what I focus on most every single day I am here.
