Bhakar Organic Farm Punjab

We’ve been out here at Bhakar Organic Farm Punjab for a good while now. The farm is located in V. P. O. Kalalwala, over in Tehsil Talwadi Sabo. It’s just us working the land and trying to do things the way they should be done without all the extra chemicals everyone uses these days. Most mornings start pretty early, usually before the sun is even up, because there is always something that needs fixing or tending to in the fields. We don't have a big fancy office or a marketing team telling us what to say. It’s just dirt under the fingernails and a lot of long days under the Punjab sun. Sometimes the weather doesn't go our way, and that's just how farming is. You learn to live with what the season gives you. We’ve stayed in the same spot in Kalalwala because this is where our roots are. People around the village know where to find us if they need anything. We don’t spend much time on the computer, mostly we are just outside. It’s a quiet life, mostly focused on the crops and making sure the soil stays healthy for the next year. It’s not always easy, and some years are tougher than others, but we keep at it. If you’re ever passing through Talwadi Sabo, you’ll see our place. It’s not much to look at from the road, but it’s where we do our work every day.
