Anabdeep Kaur Khiva Architect

Our office is over at 226, Phase-2 in Modal Town. It is a regular neighborhood spot, which is nice because it isn't as loud as the main city center. Anabdeep Kaur Khiva handles the architecture work here. We have been set up in Modal Town for some time now. Most of the day is spent sitting at the drafting table or answering the phone. It is a practical workspace without any extra fluff. We get locals coming in who are planning to add a room or start a whole new house. Since we are in Phase-2, it is easy for people in the area to just walk over. We have our files organized, or at least we try to, and there are always sketches pinned to the walls. It is not a corporate environment. We just talk to people like neighbors. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks, or we run out of printer ink at the wrong time, but we get the jobs done. Working as an architect in a place like this means you see a lot of the same faces. We appreciate the quiet streets around 226. It gives us a chance to actually think about the designs. If you are around Phase-2, you have probably passed our door. We do not have big signs, just the name on the entrance. It is a steady pace of work and we like it that way. We just keep drawing and planning things out.
