Aggarwal Rice Mills is over on Bega Road in Bhucho Mandi. If you know the area, you know how busy Bhucho Mandi can get during the peak times. We are just off the main path on Bega Road. The mill itself is a sturdy building that has seen plenty of harvests. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the walls and the equipment and the stacks of empty bags waiting to be filled. The mornings are usually the best part of the day because it is still cool and the sun is just coming up over the fields. We have people who have been coming here for decades. They know where to park and who to talk to. We try to keep the place organized, but with so much grain moving around, it is a constant battle against the mess. There isn't any big secret to how we run things. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend all night fixing a conveyor belt or a motor, but that is just how it goes. Bega Road stays pretty active, so there is always someone passing by to say hello. We are just a local mill trying to stay busy and keep the wheels turning for another year.
