Rakesh Trading Company

We are located in Gurdaspur, right on the busy Gt Road. Rakesh Trading Company is based inside the Mahasha Market, which stays pretty crowded throughout the entire week. You have to be really careful where you park your motorbike because the space is very tight and the traffic out on the main road never really stops moving. Our shop is filled with all sorts of different goods we trade, and there is usually a tall stack of cardboard boxes near the entrance waiting to be moved. We have been in this market for a long time now. You get to know all the other shopkeepers around you, and we often share a hot cup of tea in the afternoon when things finally slow down a bit. The interior walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the spare time to actually get it done. We mostly just focus on getting the daily orders sorted out and talking to the regular people who come in. It gets very hot during the summer months, and the small ceiling fan we have just moves the warm air around the room. Still, we much prefer being here in the middle of all the action rather than working somewhere quiet and tucked away. Gurdaspur is a busy district and being on the Gt Road means we see all sorts of people passing through our doors. We don't have any big corporate rules here, we just work hard and get on with it.
