New Golden Punjab Honey

New Golden Punjab Honey is located out on Amritsar Road in Village Dharmuchak. We are quite close to the Gurudwara, which is a good landmark for people who are trying to find us. It’s a quiet area compared to the city of Amritsar itself. We sell honey that we get from hives, and we put it into different sized glass and plastic jars ourselves. The shop is small and smells quite sweet most of the time. We have a few wooden shelves where we display the jars for customers. It’s mostly a family-run thing, so you’ll usually find me or one of my brothers here during the day. We don't have any big machinery; we do most of the bottling and labeling by hand. Sometimes a few bees follow the honey into the shop, but they don't really bother anyone. People traveling along the main road often see our sign and pull over to buy a jar or two to take home to their families. We also have some honeycomb sometimes if the season is right. The walls are just plain white, and we have a small bench outside where we sit when there aren't many customers around. It’s a peaceful business and we like being out here in the village. We don't use any fancy advertising; we just rely on people seeing us as they drive past. It’s a sticky job sometimes, but we’ve been doing it for years and it suits us just fine.
