S.A.S. Industries

S.A.S. Industries sits right by the Qadian Fatak near Model Town on the G. T. Road. Being near a railway crossing means we spend a lot of time watching the trains go by or waiting for the gates to open so trucks can move again. The G. T. Road is always buzzing with traffic, so there is a lot of dust and noise around the industrial shed. We have some heavy machinery inside that makes a fair amount of noise when it’s running. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil spots here and there from the equipment. It’s an industrial area, so nobody expects things to look perfect or polished. We just focus on keeping the machines running and getting the production done on time. The workers here have been around for a while and they know the quirks of every piece of equipment we own. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor checking on something or talking about a repair that needs to be made. It gets quite loud during the peak hours, but that’s just the nature of being in this location. When the Fatak is closed, the traffic piles up, and it gives us a moment to look out at the crowd before getting back to the metalwork. It’s a tough environment but it suits the kind of work we do.
