Khosla Agro Overseas

You can find us near the Bye Pass Chowk on Amritsar Road in Batala. Being near the chowk makes it easy for the big trailers to turn in and out without getting stuck in the narrower city streets. Khosla Agro Overseas is a busy spot, especially when the harvest is coming in from the surrounding fields. The yard is usually full of activity, with people weighing loads and checking the quality of the produce. It’s a dusty environment and the sun can be quite brutal in the afternoon. We have a small cabin where the paperwork happens, but most of the time we are out there on the ground. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just want to get the shipping containers filled and sent off on time. The phone is always ringing with someone asking about prices or delivery dates. It’s a lot of grit and hard work. Some days we stay late into the night under the floodlights to finish a shipment. We've been here long enough that the local drivers know our routines. It is just a regular agro business trying to keep up with the demands of the international market. There’s no polish here, just heaps of grain and a lot of heavy lifting every single day.
