Place One Security Services

If you walk past the Shiv Mandir in Dosinga, you’ll find us. Place One Security Services is based right there, not far from the post office. It’s a quiet part of Chandbali most of the time, except during festivals when the temple gets crowded. We started this because there was a need for reliable people to watch over things. Our office is pretty small and we usually have a few guards sitting around waiting for their shifts to start. We talk about the weather or whatever is happening in the village while we check the schedules. Most of the guys working for us grew up right here in the tehsil, so they know everyone. That makes the job a bit easier because people recognize them. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. We just have our uniforms and a logbook that we keep on the main desk. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use flashlights to see what we are writing, but we make it work. It's not a complicated business, just a lot of standing and watching and making sure doors are locked. We take it one day at a time. The heat can be tough in the summer, especially for the guys on the night shift, but nobody complains much. We just keep doing what we do near the temple. It is simple work, but somebody has to do it.
