Our place is on Hospital Road, right near the 1st Gate. Kotwali Road is just around the corner from us. It is a very busy part of town, especially with the hospital so close. You see all sorts of people walking by every day. Smart India Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this spot, and it is a handy location because everyone knows where the first gate is. Finding parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes if you arrive too late in the morning. We spend a lot of time inside at our desks, but we can hear the horns and the street noise throughout the day. The building itself is older, nothing too modern, but it stays cool enough in the summer. We have a few small shops nearby where we get tea. The morning starts with opening up the shutters and checking what needs to be sorted for the day. It is a straightforward setup. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some rooms with tables and chairs where the work happens. Being near Kotwali Road means it is easy to explain the directions to anyone coming over. It feels like a very local, lived-in part of the city. You see the rickshaws lined up near the corner all the time. It is just a regular building with some paint peeling off the side. We keep our files in old metal cabinets.
