FUMEE TEXTILES LLP

We are located on the ground floor at 67/26 in New Basti, Ramganj. It’s right in the lane across from the Dr. Khungar Eye Hospital. If you know that gali, it’s always busy with people coming and going. Our space is not very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack the textile rolls. It gets a bit loud outside with the local market noise, but we just keep the door shut when we need to concentrate on the accounts. We have a couple of old wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait. The floor is concrete and we’ve got a lot of fluorescent lights because the back of the shop doesn’t get much sun. We handle a lot of different fabrics, and sometimes the whole place smells like new cloth and dye. Being in the Ramganj area means we are right in the thick of things, which is great for business but can be a bit chaotic at times. We don’t have a website or a marketing person; we just talk to the people who come in and handle our regular clients over the phone. Most of the time, I’m just sitting at the main desk checking through invoices or talking to the guys who help with the loading. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’ve been here for a good while now.
