Our office is in Avas Vikas Colony in Basti, which is part of Uttar Pradesh. The house number is 738. It is a regular building in a regular neighborhood. We deal with finance here, but it isn't like those big banks in the city with marble floors. It’s more of a local office where people from around Basti come to talk about loans or money for their businesses. We have a few desks, some chairs for people to wait in, and a lot of registers and files stacked up. Most of the day is spent talking to people and going through paperwork to make sure everything is in order. It can be a bit slow sometimes when the power goes out or when there is a lot of noise from the colony outside. We just deal with it and keep going. We aren't here to promise anything impossible. We just look at the numbers and see what can be done to help someone get a piece of equipment or start a project. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We know our regulars and we try to treat everyone who walks through the door like a neighbor. There are no suits or ties required here. We just sit down, have some tea, and talk about the financial side of things until we find a solution that works for everyone involved in the conversation. It is just basic work, helping folks out with their money needs.
